New Hampshire plays a leading role when it comes to laws protecting of cyclists The government is pressing ahead with bike parking facilities. The cycling infrastructure is average.


Landscape
Large parts of the state are mountainous and hilly. Approximately one quarter of New Hampshire lies in the White Mountains. This state has a typical rural New England character: beautiful nature with no real wilderness, dense forests here and there, and charming towns and villages.


Climate
New Hampshire has moderate warm summers and cold winters. The amount of rainfall is spread over the year.
