Puerto Montt to Ushuaia The outdoor sports centre and seafood mecca of Puerto Montt is the starting point for the trans-Patagonian and mythic Carretera Austral. You will now tackle one of the world’s ultimate cycling routes, taking 5 ferries, spinning past icy cold rivers, enormous glaciers, impenetrable forests, and isolated farms. El Chalten, Torres del Paine and Punta Arenas are one of the places you can visit.
