The Utah Mountains bike tour is a point-to-point bike tour across Utah featuring the rugged backbone of the state. Who knew there were so many mountains in a state known for its deserts and canyons? The route meanders through three National Parks (Capitol Reef, Bryce and Zion), two National Monuments and one state park. Over the course of the tour we ride all 124-miles of Utah’s incomparable Scenic By-Way 12 and two stretches of road that rank up there with the most scenic in North America:  The Hogback on Scenic By-Way-12 and the descent into Zion National Park

The Zion to Telluride Bike Tour (Z2T) traces a mountainous path across Utah and into southwestern Colorado. Decades in the making, the Olympic Discovery Trail follows an old rail line on the Olympic peninsula. No logging trucks! Our tour covers about 100 miles on this mostly paved trail with the snowcapped Olympic Mountain Range to one side and the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the other. We begin at Lake Quinault and head north and east around the peninsula, stopping at Kalaloch, Ruby Beach, the Hoh Rainforest, Forks, Lake Crescent, and Port Angeles before we hit the high point of the tour at Hurricane ridge. We also get off our bikes to take a closer look at things, hiking in ancient forest, on beaches, and through sub-alpine meadows. Stay at two National Park lodges on the water. Our road cycling tour of the island loops around the valley nestled between two sleeping giants, Puu Kukui caldera to the West, and Mt. Haleakala to the East. Inside Maui’s 120 miles of coastline, we experience a surprising range of microclimates, from exotic gardens to rainshadow drylands, from sandy lagoons to snowy summits! With over 20 ecosystems and lots of hills, road cycling is always an adventure here. One minute we’ll be riding through a lush tropical rainforest, and the next we’ll turn the corner onto a huge, sunny lava flow, or drop down onto a private peninsula for some fresh, hot Hawaiian banana bread! The people on the island are just as diverse. Evenings are filled with the sights and scents of real island hospitality, where we are pampered with islands feasts, luaus, and hula dancing, and are offered our own oceanside ohanas (private beachhouses).

Nova Scotia Bike Tour offers up yet another bike-it list destination to Nova Scotia, one of Canada’s three Maritime provinces. The Nova Scotia bike tour offers one of the top cycling destinations in North America with majestic ocean views and seafood to enjoy throughout the tour. We have incorporated healthy mileage, all the sights and several days along the majestic Cabot Trail into our Nova Scotia bike tour. It should be noted that Nova Scotians are exceptionally friendly to cyclists and most of the time give us the entire lane when passing from behind.

The Blueberry Route - the Véloroute des Bleuets - is a 256 km paved cycling circuit around Saint-Jean Lake, north of Québec City. Spin along flat, easy routes through national parks surrounded by forested peaks. Ride along the sapphire-blue lakeshore, through peaceful farmland and beside glittering rivers. Sample local delights from craft brews to handmade cheese to poutine, Québec's most famous dish. We ride the undiscovered and uncrowded roads of the "North Country" of upstate New York as we make our way to each of the local craft breweries. Join us for some bike and beer fun on this unique tour of the New York countryside and historic resorts.

Join us on an incredible biking tour through Oregon’s iconic Northern coastline and scenic Willamette Valley. You’ll visit historic Astoria, breathtaking Cannon Beach, Nature’s Playground on the Oregon Coast: Tillamook, along with rides through the Willamette Valley’s rolling hills and vineyards. The journey will be capped off with a visit to Oregon’s state capital, Salem, and an opportunity to bike out to a hidden gem in Oregon, Silver Falls State Park hiking by ten breathtaking waterfalls.

Rich with coastal New England charm, Cape Cod is at its most beautiful during our summer and autumn visits. You’ll cycle the car-free Cape Cod Rail Trail through coastal villages alongside cranberry bogs, lush marshlands and rolling sand dunes. With visits to Chatham, Nantucket, Provincetown and points in between, you'll discover why so many people are drawn to the region. Off the bike, you’ll stroll the beaches and
nature trails, kayak and whale watch. All this and you’ll still have free time to relax and explore.

Waves crashing on rocky shores, lobster boats bobbing in the harbor and spectacular views of bays and inlets dotted w‍‍‍ith islands are just a few of the many sights you’ll enjoy on our Maine: Acadia National Park Tour. Add scenic cycling on coastal roads and wonderfully car-free trails and you’ll understand why they call Maine “Vacationland”. You’ll also have plenty of time to relax at the area’s finest accommodations and enjoy delicious meals featuring fresh, local fare.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited park in the USA and it’s no wonder as the views and vistas here are simply stunning. We start the week from Tellico Plains, Tennessee to travel along the Cherohala Skyway riding “on top of the world” to Tapoco, North Carolina. From here we take on “The Dragon” (aka: Deal’s Gap) with it’s 318 curves in 11 miles. Then it’s onto a portion of the beautiful, but little known and lightly traveled, Foothills Parkway. We also visit the remote Cades Cove for a car-free early morning riding experience through history and then in the afternoon to the top of Clingmans Dome to marvel in the 100+ mile views of purple mountains majesty.
On the second half of our tour we ride along a portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway visiting it’s highest point at 6,053 feet and then end in Asheville, North Carolina. We will have a layover day in Asheville which will be a great opportunity to explore this charming town, enjoy one of it’s many breweries, visit the Biltmore Estate, or if you want to ride, take on a challenging climb to the top of Mount Mitchell. Our final day includes a climb over Doggetts Gap and then ends in the remote town of Hot Springs, North Carolina.

A Yellowstone National Park bike tour is a otherworldly experience especially if you happen to enjoy wildlife, geysers and fabulous landscapes! This tour spends three days in the National Park and then 4 days in the lesser known, but equally compelling Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. We consider Day 7’s Bear Tooth Pass to be one of our top climbs.

The Great Allegheny Passage/C&O Canal Gravel Tour rides along two of the best back-to-back gravel trails in the United States. Both of these magnificent trails are steeped in history with the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal (C&O Canal) trail offering a more “back in time” experience.
The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) is a more recent addition to the growing number of US rails-to-trails and it offers a world-class 150 mile gravel trail second to none in terms of quality and experience.

The Undiscovered Country
This is the first section of the South American Epic.
For many years the beautiful country of Colombia was avoided by travellers as it suffered through civil war. Times have changed for the better and we are excited to start the South American Epic Bicycle Expedition in this magical land. Mountains, jungles, waterfalls, coffee, beaches and thriving cities are just a few of this country's gifts.

Coffee & Cocoa
This is the second section of the South American Epic, Bogota to Quito
From Columbia’s capital we begin a two days massive descent into the Magdalena River Valley. The next night will be spent gazing at millions of stars from the Desierto de la Tatacoa. We climb up into the Cordillera Central. After more tough but beautiful days of cycling we cross into Ecuador.

Volcano Alley
This is the third section of the South American Epic, Quito to Lima Quito, at 2800m, the highest capital city in the world, is the jumping-off point for one of the longest and most dramatic sections on the South American Epic - Volcano Alley.
In Peru we spin along the eastern edge of the Desierto de Sechura before spending a rest day on the Pacific coast. Than a spectacular climb up into the Cordillera Blanca were you can visit Huascarán National Park, a UNESCO World heritage site. We end this section in Lima.

The Gringo Trail
This is the fourth section of the South American Epic, Lima to Cusco
Cycling along the Pacific Ocean we spin into Paracas where you may get to see the local sea lions and seals. A couple of days later you cycle into Nazca were you can visit the incredible Nazca lines.
From there we will climb into the Andas mountains on our way to Cusco were you have the change to visit the world famous Machu Picchu.

Incan Highlands
This is the fifth section of the South American Epic, Cusco to La Paz
From historical Cusco, we will set off for 3 beautiful days of cycling the Andean altiplano and route to Puno, where a rest day and the chance to explore Lake Titicaca and its renowned floating islands await. Riding along the world’s highest navigable lake we will cross into Bolivia and the city of La Paz.

Cycling the Salt Flats
This is the sixth section of the South American Epic, La Paz to Salta.
A few days after pedalling out of La Paz, our intrepid riders will have the unique opportunity of cycling and camping on the other-worldly, Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat.
A six day trek brings you into Salta in Northern Argentina.

Across the Andes.
This 7th section begins in Salta with its stunning colonial architecture and friendly roadside cafes. Spinning out of town, the cyclists will find themselves pedalling through the picturesque Valles Calchaquies, passing by small villages and weaver’s workshops. A rest day in the town of Cafayate allows the riders time to explore the red rocks of the Quebrada de las Conchas and the Garganta del Diablo as well as local wineries like Finca Las Nubes which specializes in the Torrontés varietal. Heading south on historic Ruta 40 the landscape shifts from Triassic badlands to mountainsides striped with rocks of green, yellow, red, brown, purple, white and pink.

The Lake District
This is the 8th section of the South American Epic, Santiago to Puerto Montt
Leaving the metropolis of Santiago, you will spin into the Colchagua valley wine growing region, alongside the Rio Mantequito, and then down Chile's rugged Pacific Coast. You will cycle through the spectacular Lake District – an area featuring dozens of lakes, snow capped volcanoes, rushing rivers and tranquil forests. On to the harbor city of Puerto Montt.
The Lake District

Carretera Austral
This is the 9th and last section of the South American Epic, Puerto Montt to Ushuaia
The outdoor sports centre and seafood mecca of Puerto Montt is the starting point for the trans-Patagonian and mythic Carretera Austral. You will now tackle one of the world’s ultimate cycling routes, taking 5 ferries, spinning past icy cold rivers, enormous glaciers, impenetrable forests, and isolated farms. El Chalten, Torres del Paine and Punta Arenas are one of the places you visit. After a ferry ride across to the island of Tierra del Fuego it is just 7 days and a final border crossing back into Argentina before the cyclists reach their ultimate goal, the world’s most southernmost city, Ushuaia, perched on the tip of South America and overlooking the Beagle Channel.

This challenging expedition offers you the best opportunity to explore the vastness and diversity of South America by bike. This is an epic trans-continental expedition unlike any other. This is the only South American bicycle trip that covers the continent from top to tip, that includes up and coming Colombia, the menacing row of volcanoes in Ecuador, the majestic vistas throughout the Andes, the stunning and surreal landscapes of the Bolivian Salt Flat, the old colonial towns of Northern Argentina, allows you to cycle the entire legendary road – the Carretera Austral and savour the remoteness of Patagonia & the vineyards and lakes of southern Chile.

During WWII, the US army constructed a road to bring oil from the Mackenzie River in Northwest Territory to a refinery in Whitehorse. Two years after completion, the 176 million dollar project was abandoned. The dirt road is still seasonally maintained by the Canadian government. The winding route takes you through some of the most beautiful northern country in this hemisphere. Bike past pristine lakes with loons calling. Observe relics of the road’s WW II past. View the scenic splendor of the autumn colors in vibrant reds and golds. At night, watch the northern lights overhead from your campsite.

Explore one of the most beautiful regions in the world. Cycle the legendary Skull Valley Loop through Prescott State Forest past giant Ponderosa Pines. Created for stronger cyclists, this ‘heftier’ version of the Crater Lake tour crosses the Coast Range and sails down the knobby headlands of Oregon’s Wild Rivers Coast Scenic Bikeway along the craggy southern seaboard – then turns inland again to follow the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. The showstopper of the week, though, is the ride around one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon: spectacular Crater Lake – which Bicycling Magazine calls “a scenic road that will leave you breathless.” We time this tour to take part in the Ride the Rim Oregon event (entry fee included) so you have the opportunity to ride around Crater Lake without cars!

Looking for an epic adventure? “ WYMODAK” stands for Wyoming- Montana-South Dakota! Start this tour in Cody and bike the chief Joseph Scenic Byway to Montana, then enjoy the challenging and magnificent Absaroka Beartooth Highway. Head east and visit Devils Tower before entering the Black Hills of South Dakota. Finish the tour with a day of riding in Badlands National Park before returning to Rapid City for flights home.
