Mt Rainier NP limits both the number of tours we can operate (two) and the number of cyclists per tour(10), so reserve early to be one of the 20 lucky cyclists per year who get to take this tour!

Join us on an incredible biking tour through Oregon’s iconic Northern coastline and scenic Willamette Valley. You’ll visit historic Astoria, breathtaking Cannon Beach, Nature’s Playground on the Oregon Coast: Tillamook, along with rides through the Willamette Valley’s rolling hills and vineyards. The journey will be capped off with a visit to Oregon’s state capital, Salem, and an opportunity to bike out to a hidden gem in Oregon, Silver Falls State Park hiking by ten breathtaking waterfalls.

Created for stronger cyclists, this ‘heftier’ version of the Crater Lake tour crosses the Coast Range and sails down the knobby headlands of Oregon’s Wild Rivers Coast Scenic Bikeway along the craggy southern seaboard – then turns inland again to follow the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. The showstopper of the week, though, is the ride around one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon: spectacular Crater Lake – which Bicycling Magazine calls “a scenic road that will leave you breathless.” We time this tour to take part in the Ride the Rim Oregon event (entry fee included) so you have the opportunity to ride around Crater Lake without cars!

The landscapes on our Oregon tours are as varied as they are stunning. There are hilltop wineries, bucolic orchards and laden hop trestles; a bounty that can also be enjoyed off the bike with some of the country’s best wine, food and beer. You cycle quiet lanes and bike paths including the Historic Columbia River Highway – one of Bicycling magazine’s best bike rides. And, whether you are in the Willamette Valley or deep in the Columbia River Gorge, snowcapped Mount Hood will be the backdrop to many of your spectacular photographs.
