Bike across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco to Sausalito with fun local guides, and keep the bike for the rest of the day!

Take a beautiful bicycle ride on the Bay Trail over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito with a return trip to San Francisco by ferryboat! The tour is an easy to moderate 9-mile adventure, as the majority of the ride is flat and the last mile is downhill. Sights of interest include Fisherman’s Wharf, Aquatic Park, Ghirardelli Square, Fort Mason, the Marina Green, Crissy Field, the Palace of Fine Arts, the Presidio, Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito shops, Alcatraz, Angel Island, and more. An experienced tour guide will share fun and interesting information about each sight. The tour ends when we arrive in Sausalito, usually around 1:00pm. You can catch a ferryboat back to San Francisco at your leisure or return by bicycle.

We provide you with ferry tickets so you don’t have to spend time waiting in the line in Sausalito. If you decide to cycle back to San Francisco, and you don't use your ferry tickets, you can just return them to us.

The Sausalito and Tiburon ferries will drop you off at either Pier 41 (right by Fisherman’s Wharf) or Pier 1, the San Francisco Ferry Building (near Justin Herman Plaza). You'll find the ferry schedule inside your map with a detailed list of times and drop-off locations.
