Cycling in Canada

North America is ideal for nature lovers and cycling is the best way to see the beautiful nature of Canada. Best time for cycling is from spring to autumn.

Canada is the second largest country in the world in size, after the Russian Federation. It is about 4,000 miles from east to west and nearly 3,000 miles from north to south towards the US border far above the Arctic Circle.
In central Canada are vast prairies, particularly in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and part of Alberta. To the west lie the Rocky Mountains. In the north you will find immense, almost uninhabited arctic landscapes and the Canadian Arctic Islands. In the east of the country one finds the Maritime Provinces and the island of Newfoundland. The Bay of Fundy between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia has the largest difference between the tides in the world.
Canada is ideal for nature lovers, where cycling on the main roads should be taken for granted.
The quality of the roads is fair to good, on the shoulder less.
On the main roads cyclists are a normal sight.
