At each tour information page there is a booking option. As soon as you send off the electronic form, you will immediately receive an email with your booking information. You can also check all your booking details on your own personal My Bike Tour
client account. Self-guided tours are confirmed on booking; guided tours are confirmed once the number of participants for that tour has reached a certain minimum.
The first payment is 25% of the tour price with a minimum of $250 per booking. You will receive an invoice shortly after the booking confirmation. The remaining part of the tour price is due 90 days before the tour start .In case of coast to coast tours and other Tours of over 30 days the remaining part of the tour price is due 120 days before the tour starts. Bookings made within 90 days (or 120 days in case of a tour of over 30 days) before the tour start are charged in full. Per booking there is a fee of $20 for administration handling costs.
You can pay us bank-to-bank (US-dollar or Euro account) or by credit card, on our secure webpage.
Six weeks before your tour starts we send you the tour information. This includes the transfer procedures, the daily route and the accommodation details. After the booking there is comprehensive USA travel information available at your "My Bike Tour" account. At the start of the tour you will get further instruction from our tour leaders.
After booking, you may need to change something in your tour, such as date or number of participants. We always try to honor such requests but it depends on the local operator. The sooner you request a change the greater the chances of success. The cost per change or combination of changes is USD 75. Changes can not be made within 14 days prior to the tour.
We charge 300 USD cancellation fee when you cancel the tour ninty(*) days or more before the tour start date the remaining tour price is refunded to you. Please note the cancellation fees can differ per tour. You can ask us for the correct cancellation fees for your chosen tour. In the future we will make this visible per tour.
- 90 to 30 days - 50% of the tour price
- 30 to 15 days - 75% of the tour price
- 15 to 0 days - 100% of the tour price
There are no refunds for cancellations during the tour.

(*)Please note that the following cancellation fees apply for all coast to coast tours and other tours of over 30 days if the cancellation request is received:
- 120 days or more before tour begins- USD 300
- 110 days to 120 days USD 1000
- 90 to 110 days- USD 1500
- 60 to 89days - 50% of the Tour Price;
- 0 to 59 days - No refunds will be issued
All refunds are subject to a deduction of USD 300 per booking
(*)For the Coast to Coast tour aplies a different cancellation fee.
We do not sell travel or cancellation insurance policies because it is often cheaper to buy these with a more local insurance carrier. Costs of medical care or repatriation are often (partially) covered by your standard health insurance.
